Yahoo DMARC policy

Yahoo has changed its DMARC policy of its domain, it has adopted 'p=reject' policy. All the DMARC compliant mail receivers inclusive of Yahoo, AOL and Gmail are rejecting or bouncing an email that comes from @yahoo.com but not from its domain. Any email that is devoid of proper DKIM and SPF alignments are tend to get rejected.

Using a public domain in the sender place is not a good sign for legitimate email marketers. DMARC authentication policies are getting popular to eradicate the issues associated with email spoofing, phishing and spamming. Not only the giants (yahoo, AOL and Gmail) and all other ISPs are in the queue to join their hands for the same policy to fight against spam and email spoofing.

Hence we suggest you to stop using your personal sender address of public domains to ensure better deliverability options.

On 22nd April 2014 AOL have adopted the same p=reject policy to prohibit third party email senders from using AOL sender email address.
